
Light and Love Open Mic Night

Remember when I preached a few weeks ago on how we are living in dark time and we need to bring light and love into the world? Well, we are doing just that! Come to our Light and Love Open Mic Night on August 6th at 6pm! Be ready to share your song, story, bible verse, art, poetry, or anything that shows light and love (or just come and enjoy the show)! Everyone is welcome to this free event and we hope people of all ages show how there is light and love in this world!
Q&A
Q:Do I need to sign up to perform?
A: No but on the day of we will have a sign up sheet to know how many people will share.
Q: What do I need to bring to perform?
A: We will have a mic and some speakers but that is it. All other instruments or other equipment needs to be brought yourself.
Q: Who can share?
A: Anyone! People of all ages are more than able to share. It can be in a group or solo and it can also be from anyone and not just people who go to Trinity.
Q: What can be shared?
A: Any artistic expression of what Love and Light is to you. Please note that we are a church and this is a multi-age event so please have the language and imagery of your art fir that kind of event.
Q:Is this event handicapped accessible?
A: Yes. We have a ramp into our building with a bathroom that is for all capabilities next to the hall. We also have space to have quiet if auditory issues are common for you. Lastly, we will have chairs and tables provided for those who cannot/do not want to stand.
Q: Does my performance have to be about God?
A: Nope but I would argue that all things about light and love are of God. You do not need to be religious to come to this event. We just want to share light and love with all people. There will be information if you want to know about our church but this is not specifically at religious event.
Q: Will there be food and drinks?
A: We will provide light snacks and drinks. If you want to bring your own food, feel free!
Q: Does this event cost money?
A: This is a free event but we will have ways to donate money if you are interested.
