Trinity Episcopal Church in the Nichols section of Trumbull, Connecticut is currently in the process of transitioning to a new Priest in Charge who will continue to lead us forward into a new chapter in Christian witness in our neighborhood.
We are currently celebrating our 175th Anniversary as a parish, have shown steady growth in our membership growing by 34% in the last ten years and increasing our church school enrollment from 3 to 26. Parish finances have also remained positive and we have no debt.
The position will be a half time Priest in Charge with the availability of a Rectory if desired. Click on the links below to learn more about our parish and the neighborhood.
Our wishes are to:
Become a fully missional church enhancing the individual missional work that many parishioners are already involved in.
Explore what God is calling us to do in Trumbull and the surrounding communities.
Have a PIC who is a strong spiritual and inspirational leader - relating equally to youth as well as seniors, who listens, and who encourages new ministries.
Have spiritual growth through the church school, Bible study, meditation, and liturgy.
Have ecumenical growth through programs shared with our neighboring churches.
Have financial growth through increased pledges and innovative sources of income.
Have congregational growth through an increase in youth-centered and community activities.
Have a PIC who wants to work together with us as part of the Trinity team.
If you believe that God might be calling you to discern with us, please send a Letter of Interest, a current resume or CV, and a current OTM profile to the ECCT's Diocesan Transition Minister, Ms. Amber Page Gehr, at apagegehr@episcopalct.org
